  1. So this is fucking bad, or at least I think it is.
Yesterday morning I coughed up mucus and tar. Thats not unusual. Its been happening for about six months but progressively getting worse. Well I noticed small traces of blood in almost everything I was coughing up that morning. First time its ever happened to me. It stopped showing up about half way thru the day. I do get a lot of mucus that drips from my nose but I didnt get a nose bleed at all. A little bloody when I blew my nose, but not until hours after I started seeing the blood in my spit. I blew my nose a lot when I first noticed it and it was all clean of any traces of blood.
Ive stopped smoking since then and only vaping until I see a doctor. Ive noticed a lot of my phlegm has gone away in that short time. This morning though I started coughing up phlegm that had a little blood in it again, or at least I think it was. Went away a lot quicker today but still worries me.
Theres been a few times in the past that my throat would just start aching a lot for no reason.
And I just realized last night that part of the nugs ive been smoking for the past month have mold. Not sure if ive smoked the moldy parts cause theres alot without mold too, but its very possible.By mold I mean bud rot, not PM. Its some outdoor shit from norcal that was cured/packaged very badly.
This happen to anyone else before? Im still gonna see a doctor but this shit is kind scary. Happened to my grandpa when he figured out he had cancer.
Oh and ive been smoking for probably 2 1/2 years. I used to smoke alot of blunts too. I started keeping the tags. I have a collection of not even half the blunts ive smoked, and its over 150 tags at least. All within about 1 1/2 years. And I was diagnosed with mild asthma when I was younger.

  2. 1) See a doctor
    2) 300 blunts is not going to make someone cough up blood unless they have underlying causes. I used to smoke a lot of blunts, way more than 300 in a year, and I have never coughed up mucus or blood.

  3. See a doctor as soon as you can. Theres a number of things it could be but the doctor can do tests to know for sure. Best wishes to you though and hopefully its nothing.

  4. It was most likely more than that but I was just saying to let everyone know that ive smoked tobacco frequently in the past.
Yeah, im gonna see a doctor tomorrow morning though. Made the appointment already.
I cough up mucus all the time though. I didnt know that part was bad..? my nose has been congested since I was like 9. when I started smoking I would get a lot more mucus and it drips to my throat if I dont blow my nose. I think its hereditary (if thats possible) cause my dad is constantly clearing his sinuses too, but he doesnt smoke.

  5. If it's just small traces of blood like you said, then it probably came from your sinuses. This is normal. Happens to me as well.

If it's large amounts of blood then there is most likely a problem.

(coughin up mucus is normal and tar is normal when you smoke a lot. sometimes i cough up golf ball sized chucks so be glad)

  6. Go see a doctor. Always the safest bet.

  7. do you know what Sinusitis is PubMed Health - Sinusitis

a chronic chough from sinusitis could cause you to cough up blood

    Sinusitis

Acute sinusitis; Sinus infection; Sinusitis - acute; Sinusitis - chronic; Rhinosinusitis

    Causes, incidence, and risk factors

The sinuses are air-filled spaces in the skull (behind the forehead, nasal bones, cheeks, and eyes) that are lined with mucus membranes. Healthy sinuses contain no bacteria or other germs. Usually, mucus is able to drain out and air is able to circulate.
When the sinus openings become blocked or too much mucus builds up, bacteria and other germs can grow more easily.
Sinusitis can occur from one of these conditions:

    • Small hairs (cilia) in the sinuses, which help move mucus out, do not work properly due to some medical conditions.
    • Colds and allergies may cause too much mucus to be made or block the opening of the sinuses.
    • A deviated nasal septum, nasal bone spur, or nasal polyps may block the opening of the sinuses.
    Sinusitis can be:

    • Acute -- symptoms last up to 4 weeks
    • Sub-acute -- symptoms last 4 - 12 weeks
    • Chronic -- symptoms last 3 months or longer
Acute sinusitis is usually caused by a bacterial infection in the sinuses that results from an upper respiratory tract infection. Chronic sinusitis refers to long-term swelling and inflammation of the sinuses that may be caused by bacteria or a fungus.
The following may increase your risk or your child's risk of developing sinusitis:

    • Allergic rhinitis or hay fever
    • Cystic fibrosis
    • Day care
    • Diseases that prevent the cilia from working properly, such as Kartagener syndrome and immotile cilia syndrome.
    • Changes in altitude (flying or scuba diving)
    • Large adenoids
    • Smoking
    • Tooth infections (rare)
    • Weakened immune system from HIV or chemotherapy

    Symptoms

The classic symptoms of acute sinusitis in adults usually follow a cold that does not improve, or one that worsens after 5 - 7 days of symptoms. Symptoms include:

    • Bad breath or loss of smell
    • Cough, often worse at night
    • Fatigue and generally not feeling well
    • Fever
    • Headache -- pressure-like pain, pain behind the eyes, toothache, or facial tenderness
    • Nasal congestion and discharge
    • Sore throat and postnasal drip
Symptoms of chronic sinusitis are the same as those of acute sinusitis, but tend to be milder and last longer than 12 weeks.
Symptoms of sinusitis in children include:

    • Cold or respiratory illness that has been improving and then begins to get worse
    • High fever, along with a darkened nasal discharge, for at least 3 days
    • Nasal discharge, with or without a cough, that has been present for more than 10 days and is not improving

  8. Its more than likely caused by you smoking that bud rot.

  9. just going thru the different possibilities

so the doctor didnt seem too worried about anything when I saw her. she said that the probable cause is that my throat is pretty raw from smoking and coughing up phlegm, and possibly started bleeding a little. took some blood and urine for test and basically told me that marijuana is not good for my health and that I should stop smoking. I was expecting that response. she then proceeded to talk to me about safe sex, kind of a random switch up. caught me off guard lol. and when I was filling out paper work, one of the questions said 'Are you currently sexually active?' which was followed by 'Is it good?' I started laughing in the middle of the waiting room

anyway, im not smoking for awhile, just vaping for now so I can give my throat time to recover if that is the problem. its kinda nice honestly, I have waaaaayy less mucus and ive been coughing up the tar that has been blocking my throat for awhile. didnt even noticed how much it was blocked till I cleared it out. I dont have to keep clearing my throat all day anymore either
I havent had any blood show up since then so im thinking it may have been my sinuses or throat, not my lungs

  10. She wants to fuck.

  11. We can sit here ad speculate about what this could be, however, we can't know for sure and many of the possibilities are rather bad. Seek immediate medical attention.

  12. They're right, you should consult your doctor now before its too late. For the mean time I think you should quit smoking maybe this is the reason why there's a blood coming out every time you cough.

  13. You quickly get a doctor as he may regret that this may be melaria or worse as you get cancer, cough, medical treatment as quickly as possible to help him terribly wrong things, I'm not saything just want to scare you, is a Reality check a doctor soon it may be mined, but it will return and get worse.

  14. Quit the blunts, stick with the vape! Take Omega 3 to promote healthy CB1 receptor production. (CB1s are the receptors that get you high!)

  15. Cmon Granny you know vaping's no fun ;)

  16. Coughing blood is the process of Creation of blood from the respiratory tract. This process is also called hemoptysis. lung cancer and pneumonia are the common causes that can be happened from coughing blood.
