So this seedling is about a day old and I'm not sure why the cotyledons are curled down like this, it's about 28 inches away from a 600watt hps(currently set at 300w) and the Temps are around 78. I've been making sure it stays watered and good air circulation, any ideas? Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G750A using Grasscity Forum mobile app
Having the lights closer but not enough to burn them will prevent stretching, plants stretch when reaching for light, auxins are the plants cells that move the plant toward the light and activate in shadowed areas of the plants stem Sent from my Z958 using Tapatalk
Yeah I got the light like 27 inches away, which I ready is plenty of space. They're starting to straighten out I just think it's the way the seed was Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G750A using Grasscity Forum mobile app
Hi . It will be fine. Try and keep ya temp approx 72' though and humid. Its a baby so dont want to make it too hot or dry air. Im sure will be ok. Gud luck love xxxx
Chill on the water unless the soil is dry for the top two inches. Generally this will only happen once every 3 ish days. Give or take a day
looks fine to me seedlings tend to look weird/have issues at the start because of mutations but what I see from the picture looks par for the course.
Dude its 1 day old . Just chill sit back and relax . Your light distant is fine. Even if you had it running the full 600w. Remember it's only 1 day old. Quit stressing and let it do its thing . Sent from my SM-P600 using Tapatalk
