Cotyledon Sack Is Closed

  1. So I germinated a violator kush seed in a paper towel, put it in soil after the tap root grew, and it sprouted from soil almost two days ago. The cotyledon sack is still closed. Its about an inch and half tall now, I kept it in the dark hoping the sack would pop. I decided to turn on the lights and fan today hoping that would help break the sack. Should I be worried? When it sprouted from soil she still had the seed shell on her but I removed it gently with tweezers. The shell came off super easy

  2. I would def put the light on, also keep it moist with a spray bottle.  It should unfold.

  3. Ok so I was able to remove the membrane skin with a toothpick and some tweezers and the cotyledon sack is gone, hopefully the cotyledon leaves will thank me but they are yellow and still in a little ball. I will see how it does for a couple days if theres any improvement. Im using miracle grow seed starting potting mix. If all goes well i will transplant into fox farm ocean forest after a few weeks.
