I'm setting up some stuff for a new grow room. I need to know how much is the cost of the average new hps light or the average cost of the mh light. another thing is I want to know if with this room ( 9 by 7 with 8 foot ceiling ) how big of a fan should I have. What else would I need?
What kind of grow wil you be doing? Buy some plywood and make walls that divide the room into a 3x5 flower chamber then a 3x2 veg/mom chamber next to it. This gives you a 6x7' area to work in while taking care of the plants manicuring buds, haev a place to store supplies, and even have a drying box if you dont want to have the down time in your flower box. Have 2 400 w HPS in the flower room and a 250w MH in the veg room. The lights are about $100 each. Its better to have too big of a fan and just turn it down then have too small and bake your plants.
