Cost and Output

If you just want to grow one or two plants I'd reccomend getting a 150w hps light. You can find one pretty cheap by reading the sticky about cheap grow supplies. you'll need to get some pots and soil from wal-mart or home depot which is also very cheap. Just don't get any soil with time release fertilizers. Then you'll just need some seeds, and fertilizer for when the plants are ready. You could probably get all the stuff you need for a grow that size for under $200. Make sure you do a ton of reading first, because the more you know, the cheaper your grow will be. With 2 plants under 150w hps, you should be able to score a qp or a little more after a couple practice grows. Good luck man, and start reading!!

 

There are way too many variables for us to even come close to telling you accurcate info.

you could go 12/12 flouro grow and only pay 50 - 100 dollars and yield up to an ounce from 2 plants, or veg for a month use a 150 HPS and you've got an easy 2 ounces but a more expensive grow (whatever the soil, nutes, containers, water, electric) + the HPS, or grow outside and pay for 2 seeds and maybe a few seeds and yield between a few ounces to almost 2 lbs.

 

Pretty much what is all boils down to with indoor growing is how much light you provide. A very experienced grower can get about 1 gram per watt of light that is provided to the plants, or even a little more than that. For your first few grows you should be hapy if you can get between .5-.7g per watt of light.
