Corn weed?

  1. Weed is to damn expensive but I can't grow at my house :( Since I live in iowa could I just plant some good seeds in the middle of vast cornfields and then just leave them till its time to harvest them? Like plant then do absolutely nothing till harvesting them 12 weeks later. Would the weed grow by itself? The corn would provide security and since its a farm field it would be watered and fertilized, Iowa soil is also some of the best soil in the world. It doesn't have to be dank just some stuff to get me high.

What do you guys think? It prob a retarded idea but why not ask cause it pretty much be free bud :smoke:

  2. If your going to grow outdoors don't do it in a corn field...
Find another more discreet spot because the corn field will have
    plenty of visitors.

Also you can't plant in winter,if you plant in spring it will take
about 6 months for the plant to mature.

So you have to plant sometime around early august if you
want it to be ready in 12 weeks..

If you can find a good spot though just grow a couple and pay them
regular visits to check for animal damage, disease ETC.

Make sure you grow more than one because some will die, others will
    be male and so on.

If you're lucky and you get one female to maturity you will have
plenty of weed for a good long while.

  3. Wait so if I plant after the last frost of spring would it be mature by august? No plant survives an Iowa winter. Why would a corn field have many visitors? There is literally miles and miles of it in Iowa so if I just spread a couple plants around the field I think it would be good. Any better planting spots you can think of?

  4. I don't think it would work. The cornfield planted near me was harvested way before any of my plants were ready. The only plant that I can think of that would be ready by august would be autoflowering plants which would take quite a few of just to equal the yield of a normal plant harvested late september.

  5. it can be done. i know people who have done it

  6. make sure u make a map >-------------------X marks the spot

  7. i have always wanted to do this... however unless you have weed strains that can survive various brands of herbicides like roundup and any number of DOW sprays that farmers use
    i can only dream
