Copper.

Discussion in 'Apprentice Marijuana Consumption' started by 000286, Aug 12, 2011.

  1. I'll keep it simple.
I'm an electrician, and I found some great shaped offclips of copper.
They're perfect, even designer shaped bell-looking domes, with very thin tubing. These are perfectly shaped for smoking as a pipe or a homemade bong attachment as a bowl and downstem.

Is smoking out of copper safe? If not the bowl, is using a straight tube ok for a downstem, or will hot smoke have the same effect as lighting the bowl?

    Thank you.

  2. I wouldn't think so.
But I'm no expert so what do I know?

  3. Copper has a lower melting point that other metals (i think) so therefore i feel like it would give you a bunch of carcinogens you dont want. just my educated guess though

  4. Thanks guys, I'll throw them out then - a shame, but it can't be changed.

  5. Don't throw them out! You can sell them for money. (Depends on how much they weigh)
I forgot what the centers are called that do that.
Yeah, but definitely don't smoke out of them.

  6. Copper is known to be toxic in so many ways... smoking out of it sounds horrible for you.
    Go buy a metal pipe:D

  7. Go buy a glass bong :D

  8. Sell all the copper you can get.
