Copper Downstem

    Hi, I'm working on making a relatively safe homemade and was wondering if a copper downstem would be alright.
    I know it doesn't work as a bowl because it releases fumes, but is it alright as a downstem?

    Copper is bad. It gives off fumes as it oxidizes.

    Get Brass. its safer.

    In water the copper will oxidize and fill the water with harmful fumes. I wouldnt do it..
