Some crazy shit happened today that freaked me and my friend out! So we we were going to meet up with some friends at the beach since neither of us had been there in a while, and decided to smoke a couple bowls on the way since its kind of sketchy smoking on the beach. So we come up to a red light, and i went to take a hit, and keep in mind im the first in line at the red light, and right as i am hitting it, i see a black and white car in the corner of my eye. Right away, i know it has to be a cop so i quit lighting it, and look up and make DIRECT eye contact with this cop in the passenger seat. I had the pipe to my mouth and smoke leaking out of my mouth as i looked this cop right in the eye! He gave me a dirty ass look and mugged me till he passed the through the intersection, and my heart honestly just dropped. So the light turned green and we started freaking out, and just took a left, the opposite direction that the cop was going. So as were driving a little out of our way, we see another cop, and he turns onto the same street behind us. We start freaking out again, and I thought that the cop called it into the radio and had cops looking for us! So the cop ended up getting into the right lane and passing us and didnt pull us over or anything! Once we met up with our buddies, we were talking about it and were thinking that maybe the cop had a call, or thought i was smoking tobacco hahah, or just dindt care. I know for sure the cop saw me taking a hit out of my pipe, but i just dont know why they didnt try to pull us over or stop or anything.
if i were a cop, i know i would pull your ass over and fuck with yall. I mean, a cops job is so boring, id jump at any chance to bust some kids. Spice up my day a lil. You got lucky my man.
Yeah right. Cops have better things to do then fuck with people. OP don't sweat it, they didn't do anything to you so put it out of your mind and forget about it.

That's some sketchy shit dude, I woulda been tweakin hard the whole time. I had something similar happen. I was blazing on my way to class with a friend, and I'm about to pass an intersection, and I see the light is green, I look down, like the bowl, start hitting it, look up, see the light is red now (im basically at the light now). I was going too fast though, so I kept going, look to my left (bowl in mouth still), all good, look to my right, a cop... looking right at me. I thought I was fucked, running a red, and then smoking weed while driving. The dude didn't even go my way.

Weed is still illegal where i live, it just happens to be legal for medical purposes. But even if you do have a card, you can only smoke it in your home or at a medical marijuana bar. I have had friends who have been ticketed and even arrested for marijuana possession. But hey i think im lucky! haha, i mean even though i think its a stupid law, its illegal in all states to smoke weed and drive because that's technically driving under the influence, so im still surprised those cops didnt do anything.
That cop know's that if he arrests you for that, your just going to talk shit where as if he just lets you go your gonna tell everyone what happened and that'll deter other people from doing it. People underestimate the word of mouth these days. The internet kinda compensates for that though.
I was smoking a bowl once and some Federal Marshalls seen me when I walked oit of my garage.I blew the git out and came from where I went but I doubt they gave any mind.
Isnt it the lowest priority for cops? Its still a ticket either way. You werent driving, your friend was.
