Ok it was alittle hard to find a place to put this, but I'm hoping this is the best place for this topic. I see it a lot around here, people totally hating on cops and disregarding their importance to society. Sure, there are some crooked ones, but it is that way with any industry. And can you honestly be mad at them if you're caught doing something that is still illegal? If they allowed pot smokers to get off, they'd have to let speeders, noise makers, etc. It wouldn't be very pleasant. Just think if we didn't have cops. You'd have no one to help you out if someone robbed you, raped you, etc etc. I personally have met several wonderful, dedicated police men, that honestly care about the integrity of their city. Why is it so hard for some people to seperate the facts that yes, there are some asshole cops that shouldn't be in uniform, abuse power, etc, but there are good ones which I often see people fail to mention. My rant is people clump law enforcment into this one pile and it just isn't that way. If I was smoking out in public, doing something to draw attention to myself, and got caught, well my friend, that is probably your fault. Sure you could be pulled over because the cop is crooked and wants to fuck with some kid and you happen to hot boxing the car, but it usually isn't that way. What's with the common disrespect of cops?
You're right, there are a lot of great, upstanding cops out there whom I'm glad are out there protecting the streets... ... but you better beliiiiieve that there are a some assholes with badges out there too. Oh some of the bastards I've met... oh Lordy Lord.
I support cops. The ones who really want to make society better and never abuses their power. I hate pigs, the dirty cops who abuse their power, are assholes, and think stoners are the scum of the earth, ect ect.
i dislike the government period, cops are basically the messenger they just enforce the rules, some are complete assholes but thy just do what they are told. and cops are the ones who put people in jail and im guessing most people dont like that too much lol. no one is going to go say "fuck the corporal government" F.T.C.G

I agree, why just today I was arrested by this really nice cop. He didn't even handcuff me or anything. They were froma different town though, for some reason the cops from my town are 80 percent assholes. I think it's because I live in the 3rd safest town in America, and we are overrun wiht cops, so they get bored and have to fuck with kids. But one of my good friends is an albany Sherriff, he used to be my old boss, but he is definately the man. So, yea I agree people are too quick to hate on all cops. I've been caught with weed twice by the same cop and both times he let me go, told me to stop making him catch me lol. Nice naval.
I'll remember that for next time. I don't really hate on cops though, i understand that they're just doing they're jobs. It's just sometimes they can get you at an inopportune moment and can be a tad of a nuisance.
I dont hate cops at all I just hate nosey people that call the police when they smell my crop but that will never happen(odor control) so yeah I love cops.
I really want to throw in some positive police supporting message here, but I cant. Every cop Ive ever seen, ever known, even been personally accuanted with gets a fucking hard on at the prospect of arresting someone. And you could say that "oh some cops are rightous and are in it to protect the public from rapists and murderers" But how do you think they got to their detective positions? Filling their quotas by pulling over minorties and pushing one of your pot smoking breathrens face to the curb. And what do regular cops do to prevent crime? Jack shit, theyre just there waiting to pick up the pieces afterwords, pushing pencils like every other joe. And you could hate on me or whatever pro-pig vocalizations people are gonna spew, but the next time Im watching Cops and the camera zooms away, then pans back in and there's a miraculous 5 rocks of crack in the car Ill be reminded of why I play NWA, not the fucking DARE themesong. its a paradox it's hard to claim good cop when the stupid shit is willing to 'just follow orders' instead of standing up to 'the man' in service of the people sheep lol no shit...did you see the one where they managed to find a giant bag of crack on a roof? cops go up cam lags with a huge cut then they find a perfect untouched bag knotted on this roof not a single dent on the plastic to note impact with a fucking gritty ass roof
I dont particularly dislike police. They just do what their told. People shouldnt get mad at them over getting possesion charges and such. Police enforce laws, they dont make them. The only time Ive ever been arrested was by a very nice cop, he gave me a phone call and a bottle of water before I went in. If I saw him in the bar Id buy him a beer. We should really direct our anger at the law makers. They are the ones who drove the wedge between the people and the police.
Wow, you obviously have no idea how hard some cops work or what they do in the line of duty. I'd rep you for ignorance, but I don't think that would be right. Just because every cop you have had experience with is bad, doesn't make the bunch bad. Look outside your bubble dude, seriously.
