Coolest little heat sink for LEDs and strip modules

Discussion in 'Lighting' started by trojangrower, Jan 3, 2019.

  1. Found these at my local Princess Auto today for $5 each.
They measure ~5" x 2" x 1". Haven't tried them out yet, but I got something planned for them. I also thought they would work well with strip modules.

For finned, fanned 12V heatsinks... I think they dope.

You can compare it to flat bar aluminum, but I think its almost the same price.

  7. Yea I watched a 2 hour interview with growmau5 and he even said they do not require a heatsink at all.

  8. I have these sinks and I was thinking at first to use them on my HinFlux, but they don't need that.
Instead I want to mount some special diodes I got ... little project I got going, but I'm broke.
    Job time :p
