just wondering if i am using a Euro 6 inch cool tube with a 6 inch 424cfm inline fan and 6 inch mylar ducting can that efectivley cool a 600w hps bulb in the euro 6 inch cool tube? so inside tent......... 6 inch carbon filter..... 6 inch inline fan....ducting.... 6 inch cool tube..... ducting..... outside . is that corrrect?
Try to keep all that stuff out of the tent. Furthermore, think about treating the heat and stink as separate probems. Ventilate with the carbon filter as you are just wasting it for the volume of air you have to move to cool the lamp. My $0.02
Naw dude. Listen to jolly. I'm running a 400 in the same hood, in a similar size cab, and had to run heat and stink separate. My 400+ cfm couldn't keep up doing both. Conveniently, those shitty duct booster fans work decently for hood ventilation, just put one on each end to keep flow at a max.
thats right, if you want it cooler add a 4" inline fan, sucking in cool air.. that will sort you right out
