Cookies!!!

    found this recipe online a while ago and tweaked it to my liking...made them last night and thought of sharing them with everyone on GC! :)



    OATMEAL PEANUT BUTTER CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES

    ingredients:
    1 1/2 cup "quick cooking" oats
    2 cups all purpose flour
    1 tsp baking powder
    1 tsp baking soda
    1 tsp salt
    2 sticks unsalted butter (softened)
    3/4 cup granulated sugar
    3/4 cup [packed] brown sugar
    1 tbsp vanilla
    1 cup of peanut butter
    2 eggs
    1 12 oz. bag of chocolate chips


    MIX TOGETHER: oats, flour, baking power, baking soda, and salt.

    MIX TOGETHER(separate bowl): butter and sugars until light and fluffy. then add in the vanilla and peanut butter. next comes the eggs, then the flour mixture. now add the chocolate chips.

    CHILL in the fridge an hour or two.

    put dough onto nonstick cookie sheet, but make sure you leave a few inches between each cookie.

    if you're making them on the bigger side, just flatten them down a little bit to ensure that they cook all the way through.

    BAKE AT 325 FOR 15 MINUTES.

    let cool, and enjoy:)






    a few extra tips...

    if you put a piece of bread in with your cookies (wrapped in plastic, or Tupperware) it keeps the cookies nice and moist!

    also, you can freeze the leftover dough and enjoy some other time.
