convincing a friend to smoke

    so i have this friend in college who is pretty conservative- he doesnt like the idea of weed because its illegal. i want him to smoke.

    should i pressure him to smoke? is that "wrong"?
    what should i tell him?

    i think that it would make his life better (obviously), so pressuring him to do it is a win-win?

    Yeah it's wrong. I'm sure you wouldn't want someone to pressure you into anything. Show him the same respect.

    I wouldn't pressure him into doing anything he doesen't want to do. If he wants to smoke, then great :hello:. If not, then he probably has is reasons.. Just the way it is.

    Try to educate him on it but don't pressure him into it, if he doesn't want to, then that's his thing.

    I think pressuring him could give him an even more negative feeling you know?..I hate when i feel pressured to do something and 9 times out of 10 if I'm pressured then i refuse to do whatever they're pushing me to...I would say tell him to do more research on it and if after learning more about it he still doesn't want any part of it, then thats his choice and it's best just to let him live how he feels is right. Gotta let people think and choose for themselves man.

    yeah.. ill just tell him to do some research on it. he probably believes that D.A.R.E. bullshit still.

    Why do you care what he decides to do. You sound like my girlfriends who always try and tell me to do stupid shit like watch they lame ass movies because THEY like them.

    At this point conclude his experience with a swift punch to scrotal region, if that doesnt get him smoking I don't know what the fuck will.

    Please don't be an idiot (no disrespect intended) and try to pressure him into doing something he doesn't want to.

    Respect his decision and let him be. When (or if) the day comes, he will do it based on HIS decision. In my opinion, there is nothing more annoying than a pushy person who tries to force his ideas/habits onto others.

    Don't pressure him, but if you smoke around him then offer a hit to him like once.
    Educate him.

    Eventually he might get curious and then yeah

    If not, then whatever. He's still your friend and if bud is gonna get in the way of your friendship then that's no bueno:(
