I want to start a small grow in my closet using two plastic storage bins. There is a pull string light in the closet that I want to use to power about 2- 4 cfls and a fan. I saw online these converters that you screw in to the socket and it turns it into a outlet online but I don't know how safe they are. So I was wondering if you think they are safe or if I should replace the socket with a duplex outlet. I just don't want to burn my house down. Any advise would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
