I have a 4x4 area which I have screened off with Mylar. There is ventillation space on two sides. The fourth side is only 2/3 covered with mylar where the fan is blowing air from outside the screened off space, aimed just under the 600 watt HPS hood which is not cooled. I have an air intake, 3" duct with a CPU fan jammed in it, coming from outside. My plant is in week 5 of flower. The temps the last week have been getting up to about 86f just before lights out. Today I came home and it was 90.5f just before lights out. Fortunatly I just picked up a 4" duct fan and a 4" flexible duct. Would it be better to exhaust hot air from the area or have a better air intake? Should hot air be exhausted from the top and outside air input at the bottom?
It would probably be better to exhaust the hot air if you are only going to have one or the other. But both would be better.Hot air should be taken from the top and outside air in at the bottom. BP
