Controlling myself

  1. I find it hard to cut back on weed. I'm smoking a lot less now like 2-3 times a week, and hitting the gym hard. It's much easier now then what it was a few weeks ago.( I used to smoke everyday like 3-5 times a day for a year or so.) I just find a lot of shit boring, and am always looking for something to do. I can't wait to build up some money again. Being that I live with my parents I don't need to invest in anything else.
I'm not going to smoke till Saturday now, not only is it when I get paid, but I will be broke till then and I really don't want to owe any of my friends money because I plan on getting a decent sack and want to stash some money.
I've also came to a realization that I need to get my mind set on other things besides smoking all day everyday. Venting like this just helps my inner fiend within me haha.

  2. Hey bro, I totally understand the predicament. For me it was easy to just channel all the cravings of smoking into getting shit done around the house. Then again, I have a messy house so...

Props on the gym though- that's hella constructive.

  3. Yeah same when I'm bored or something I will clean my room up to keep my mind of shit.

  4. kudos for you for controlling yourself. I do the same thing as well; I only smoke 1 - 3 times a week, and usually I only do it on weekends. Mainly because school takes up my time, and the fact that I can't spend the money to smoke every day.
But it helps to have a hobby or something that you can't do if you smoke. I.e. going to school or like you said, the gym. That way you can enjoy more things sober. Don't get me wrong, being high is awesome, but sometimes experiencing things sober is the way to go.
