"Controlled" addiction?

Discussion in 'Apprentice Marijuana Consumption' started by Havok Se7en, Sep 25, 2011.

  1. Hey, just for the record, I'm 18 and I've been smoking for about a 19 months, and I've been smoking almost daily, but in rather smaller amounts than what I'd see others smoke.

Lately, however, I feel as though instead of it being something to remember, I feel it as a sort of "fixture" in my day, almost like wanting coffee or something of the sort. But if I start a day without it, it I feel surprisingly refreshed.

    What do you think blades?

  2. It's a routine for you now, not an addiction it's just something you do daily so you notice it when you don't. Try a T break if your worried but weed isn't really addictive man.

  3. Listen to this man. Humans are creatures of habit, and you've made smoking part of your routine is all.

  4. Weed IS addictive. Anything that alters the chemistry of your body and or mind can be addictive.

  5. I smoke everyday and when i take a break for a day i feel really different. not smoking isn't hard but finding something else to do when you have free time can be. when i smoke late at night, midnight or later, and then do not smoke the rest of the day when i wake up i dont see a difference. if i dont smoke before its late and then not at all the next day i feel veryy different, hard to describe.

  6. "It's addictive in the sense that every great thing in life is worth repeating over and over"

I have yet to meet anyone addicted, maybe it's just addictive for you, but me and my friends smoke basically everyday and can quit without any feeling of "addiction"

So that gives me reason to believe it is not addictive.

  8. I find that if I don't smoke in a day after smoking daily for months I think about weed way too much and I become pretty irritable. Now I'm on a two month T-break hoping to gain some perspective on what weed does to me aside from the obvious high..

  9. It's all routine man, break a habit your going to notice it.

  10. Its not addictive, feel free to call yourself addicted when you start sucking dicks for weed.

  11. "ever suck dick for weed"

  12. what isnt 'addicting' nowadays. that word has no significant meaning to me anymore.

  13. Don't say that, addiction is a chemical thing, it's habituation.
