Violent systems systematically destroying a nation,
A society that once stood tall, proud, and arrogant,
Alienating a youth that will one day preside,
Dictating norms upon a population that is resistant,
Flexing power by overwriting cursive with print.

Whiting out the population with restraint,
Whiting out the population with red tape.

Symbolism has become your leader,
Carrying the torch, the torch of fear.

Controlling every fabric of day to day life,
Marching shoulder to shoulder ready to die,
The time begins, we must make way for them,
Watch them move, the way their eyes shine,
As we begin to lose all sense of pride.

I'm quirky, all of my previous writing was destroyed at the first of the year...Unless it is published, or performed by a band you know, it does not exist anymore.

 

Should of known me years ago...I'll literally churn out roughly a thousand different lyrics in a year, and some poetry mixed in for good measure.
