Contaminated Bud - pointless post - toothpaste involved

Discussion in 'Apprentice Marijuana Consumption' started by word2mother, Mar 21, 2023.

  1. ok, so i tried to clean my metal grinder with a flame, it blackened the metal and affected the bud.

i purchased a new plastic one, used some crap weed in it before my nice stuff arrived.

granted the nice stuff was actually different this time, from a friend i had cut off for a few weeks, and he's a petty type, so it did get me thinking.

anyway, i think the chances of him fkn with it was slim, what's happened is, i had cleaned the new grinder with an oldish toothbrush. the toothbrush wasn't cleaned, it must have had traces of toothpaste on which was left on the grinder.

now the issue is, either the weed was tampered with, or the residue from the toothbrush left in the grinder has affected it.

    how do i know there's a problem?

the weed is burning FAST, i can inhale and it just wont stop, the cherry is huge and completely unatural, it also has never happened or been noticed before.

my friend immediately tried to blame my rolling technique and tobacco, a bit strange, i was just trying to warn him if he had contaminated shit also, so it lead me to think he did something.

so what do you think, the toothbrush was 99% clean at least, i cannot imagine it did all that to the weed but very possible, over than that, the weed did leave a bit of a sticky residue on the mouth and a tingle on the impact point of the tongue, it doesnt seem like hairspray etc. but it has left me confused.. the effect wasn't really anything at all and ruined by my ''paranoia''...

obviously this is a pointless post, i should and the toxicity of smoking it must be high, i dont even know what i want out of this thread...

sadly, i got some other bad smoke and used the same grinder, it also did kind of have the same burn pattern but not as much, which has lead me to believe the toothbrush cleaning must be the culprit.

ANY EXPERTS in toothpaste?? bcz i am about to quit smoking but tempted to just finish it off. LOL.

pointless post for the 2nd time but do you think that's likely??u know how long joints take to smoke, so when its 10% the time, smth is up, perhaps i should try burn some dried toothpaste and see what happens.
