Contact your Representative, they said. It'll be fun, they said!! Yeah, right!! I'm half way through the list of ALL Reps in Indiana. And I'm surprised at how many Republicans are for legalization of just medical cannabis. How many, you say? Obviously not enough. I noticed all the numbers for me to call were the same over and over. Assistant's number for the Representative. I made a list, and check it twice. And I called to see who was going to naughty or nice about legalization. I got to talking to the Democrats assistants and interns and a lot of them were very helpful and some just didn't know. Some said they want testing first, I took that as a big fat no. And some said flat out hell no!! I blame myself for not getting out of bed earlier. But, tomorrow I have some running to do in the morning so I will be up early. Maybe I will get in touch with someone who knows. Plus, I haven't even started on the emails yet. And one very enthusiastic assistant I talked to, her Reps are trying to push legalization through and wanted know if I was willing to testify before the committee. I said yes, if I had enough notice because Indianapolis is a long ways away. She said that they only have a few days notice when a bill that is in a committee is going to be heard. I wonder if they will do a conference call?
I hope so. I think I'm building up tolerance to the D8 I've been vaping. I want the real stuff. THC and all the other cannabinoids. Nothing takes the place of real cannabis.
I just got the NORML mail about what a great year for weed 23 will be and I feel hopeless being in the south. Where did the quote come from, maybe the Revolution?, “It looks like we have work to do”. Hang in there for whatever reason OP, the music is good anyway.
I've got a secret to tell you. They don't give a damn about or anybody else who doesn't have money. 95% of the people in KY wants medical cannabis. You think they give a damn about us. How about hell to the no. I hate to be a downer. but I see my bong is only half empty.
Obviously not hard enough. These hard-lined country hillbillies wouldn't know crap about cannabis but they want to ban it. It took a little 6 year-old-girl dying from a seizure just to get CBD legalized in the state. I think they put them in the media spotlight cause the Gov of Indiana finally signed a bill legalizing it after she died. An article in High Times exposed it and I'm sure the AP got ahold of the story too. I found a story in Marijuana Moment about how the GEO Group owns several private prisons in the US and guess what? They have two in the state of Indiana. They have very generous employees that donate to the Republican party a lot! I found that out on Open Secrets website. I wanted to follow the money.
drug law allows everyone to be treated like cattle ... a drug offense in the works everyone is till it's changed ...
I view this as another civil war. We have slave states and free states. I happen to live in a slave state.
I wrote to Lindsay Graham about the medical pot and they let me know real quick that I was barking up the wrong tree.
