Alright, well I live in Southern California, so its not particularly easy to get seeds but i do know of a hydroponics shop near where i live. Anyways I thought growing would be a fun past time while i attend college and maybe make a few bucks on the side. Anyways I saw this hydroponics system called "Bubbleponics" from stealthhydroponics.com and i was just wondering if anyone has any idea if it comes with everything you would need to grow a first crop and if the two different light sources that are offered with the kit make that much of a difference versus the price increase. Its a $120 difference between the two and im not sure if its worth it. Basically is there anything more i need to know or buy then what is supplied with one of those bubbleponics kits or is what comes with it enough to harvest a good crop? Thanks
I'm assuming those lights are CFLs, but they don't actually say anywhere in the description what type of lights they are. You could just get the regular kit, then go to home depot and pick up a security HPS for 50$ or so, but I'd hold off on the dual spectrum kit until I knew exactly what type of lights they were.
another question i have is if using this hydroponics system, (or any for that matter) is the water pump constantly running spraying the roots? or is it only on a few times a day to moisten the roots and the rockwool cube?
