Connecticut flyovers?

  1. I only have two outdoor plants this year, and they are both on a land trust, so i'm not worried about hunters finding them. However, i've been searching the web for about an hour, trying to find information concerning helicopters searching for pot in CT. Specifically fairfield county. Does anyone know if we have helicopters checking for plants this time of year? I know NY does.

I know two plants isn't a lot, but i'm still worried. It is, after all, "that time of year" to be paranoid for us outdoor growers. My biggest plant is probably around 6' now, with a fair amount of sativa influence in her. The skunk number one is considerably smaller (given to me by a friend, germed late in the season) and doesn't look quite as obvious. I'll post pictures if I get a chance to head out there tommorow.

They are definitely the largest plants in the vicinity. I believe I have another month or so, but I don't know if I can afford to wait that long what with frost impending, and already cold temps (in the high 30's at night.) Also, vegetation is smaller, and when it starts turning brown, i'm afraid it will stick out like a sore thumb.

  2. hey mate, my father works at sikorsky aircraft and has for quite some time, hes not a pilot, but knows plenty of them obviously and I actually asked him about the "Flyovers." He assured me that it is rare that they would do those, simply becasue of the cost, and if u look at the marijuana trade, Americas bulk mainly comes from out west, Canada and in the northeast(in much smaller wieght though). If they saw 2 plants they would probably laugh, and also its not a personal grower they ar elooking for, if it was on your property id be a tiny bit more worried, but i dont think the police have that much time to spare with the growing fascination of COCAINE in the youth today, thats a bigger issue.
So, chin up mate! Just work on some camoflage for next year:devious:
What can be seen can be hidden.
Also, would you please send me a personal message or jsut reply to my post:
"guess on first frost anyone", when you actually get a frost where you are, which is north of my town, branford.
Pray for no frost though, haha, take care.:bongin: :bongin: :bongin:

  3. Frost?? Now we did have a couple of those in January 2005. One day I got up real early and there was frost on my windscreen.

  4. Next year I think I will go with LST to camoflauge, just to make it look more bush like. BTW, I have read a news article about someone who got busted because two plants were spotted, otherwise I wouldn't be as worried.

Thanks for responding to my post, i'll look up the frost dates right now.

    Peace, love and happiness

  5. I dont think they randomly just start flying over everywhere looking for plants, that would be stupid and a waste of money. I believe they get reports or have ideas of where large amounts of plants are and thats when they use the helicopters.

  6. Proly won't happen. If they were flying over they wouldn't bust you anyway. They look for the big guys and all you have is two plants.

  7. yeh even if they did find the 2 plants they'd prolly keep flying... waste of time n money to stop for 2 plants... they're lookin for the place wit 200 plants u kno? i think u should be str8

  8. I live in CT too... when do you plan on harvesting? It's getting pretty cold here wouldn't you say?

  9. I live in Mass so I know how you feel about the time of the year.

if they are doing flyovers they would be doing it in a grid pattern.

    peace
