Connect pot vs. Dispensary pot, which is better?

Discussion in 'Apprentice Marijuana Consumption' started by Enjoyable High, Apr 10, 2023.

  1. Does your "pot connect source" have better pot or does your "local dispensary"? I already know that dispensary pot costs 30% more than the connect, but is it better?
I've had both and dispensary pot seems to burn cleaner, but it also burns faster.

  2. I am both my own pot source and dispensary. So to answer your question: Yes.

  3. haven't bought in 3+ years but the dispensary had a much better selection & they don't stash weed in their crotches, like some corner boy??? Of course my grow is best. lol

  4. I would say the quality is comparable between my Black Market and Dispensary Cannabis. Virginia Dispensaries grow on site and there is testing done for contaminants. Both burn equally well. I just spent $400 for a half ounce of live resin for cookies, an eighth of hash rosin to smoke and a hash rosin edible. That would have cost much more at Cannabist Dispensary. Can't buy concentrate in bulk there, only by the gram which is $80-90/gram. I mainly stick with my dealer,

  5. The cannabis from the legal dispensary has been tested for mold, pesticides, fungicides, heavy metals and adulterants. Legal cannabis is labeled with the % of THC and CBD, and if your state is on the ball, the %s should be fairly accurate. Dispensaries can't get away with "short-weighting" you - they'd lose their license. You have a much wider choice of products, regular hours, and you can buy bongs, papers, pipes, and more at a dispensary. There's none of that "waiting for my man" - you just walk in during business hours and buy what you want! Also, as a 75 year old lady, I appreciate that there's no risk of me getting mugged/ ripped off at the dispensary.

Your street dealer may be cheaper, but he offers none of the benefits of a legal dispensary.

Dispensaries offer little extras like trying mystery cannabis to get unbiased feedback
Mold would be my biggest reason for spending the extra $$
I have never had a harsh vape from my dispo cannabis
    Dried and cured properly

Spent most of my life consuming "ditch weed" with all the nasties so I notice a big difference
A vape of some dispo Panama Red in the late afternoon is one of the best things on this planet

  10. I wish I had the liberty to compare; here is the Dirty South, the move toward anything medicinal let alone recreational is glacial at best if not slowly inching backward. Using my collectively hoarded stash of bagseed I've been independent for several years now but don't enjoy the luxury of broadening my spectrum by adding in store bought.

  13. Sadly, my wife will never leave Ol' Dixie; too many family connections she's unwilling to leave behind.

  14. I'm in Southern California, tons of store weed here.
Street weed is the exact same as store weed, but occasionally you find a super pothead who finds incredibly good weed, that'd you never find in a dispensary or weed shop.
I've also been told by a weed shop owner (customer at my sushi bar) that when really good weed shows up at the weed shop, the owner and employees buy it up before customers and never goes on the shelf to be sold.
