Confusing First Time Experience

The other day I was hanging out with some old friends and finally decided to join in. The results were quit confusing for me.

Note: I thinkthey said it was a mixture of hash and white widow.

    After 2-3 hits: Nothing I didn't feel a thing

At this point I thought I might as well go for it since In my mind I thought I would fail a drug test after these hits so I had a'nothing to lose' mentality.

In a period of about 15 minutes I took around 10 hits that made me feel like I would cough my brains out. I tried to hold in as long as possible because that's what everyone else was doing. At one point I couldn't stop laughing, I knew I got a case of the munchies, and from there I can't really remember much. All I know is that we played some glow in the dark Frisbee, watched Jimmie Neutron, listened to some of my favorite bands, ate a lot of cookie dough, and took periodic hits from time to time.

The next day I woke up and went to class feeling spacey, focused, tingly, and amazed with everything. It eventually stopped 36 hours after the original event.

    My questions are:
Can you get high enough to 'black out' or was it laced?
Was I still high the second day or was I just buzzed?
How many hits does it usually take an average person to get high?
Is this a normal first time experience?

  2. You simply forget shit when you're high. Engineering majors especially!
You probably were just feeling off from experiencing your first doses of weed, I felt the same at times as a beginner. I'm an average smoker, and one bowl to myself... So, like, 15 hits maybe? gets me good n baked. You sound like you had a great time.

  3. 1. no it wasnt laced. you were just super duper high
    2. we all get that spaced out feeling the the day after smoking a massive amount the night before
    3. everybodies different. impossible to give you a good answer. 10 is a lot. especially for a newbie
    4. yes. go easier on it next time.

also theres no need to hold it longer than 3 or 4 seconds

  4. first time for me was kinda the same it wasnt till like my 3rd of 4th time till my brain actually registered it and i started laughing like crazy, you'll know when it hits, i have a weak tolerance and 1 hit is enough

  5. Haha that makes sense because I am an engineering major. It was a great time and I have no regrets. Was just making sure I didn't do something wrong since I never knew weed could make you 'brown out'. It was a good time, and a very memorable first time.

Thanks for the replies, and thanks for the tip on holding it in. I though I was going to bust a lung.

  6. Your first time story reminds me of my first time except i was alone and just laying in bed.
Anyways, first times are always very intense and you only get one first time so it's a good thing you did all that fun stuff on your first. Your second time will be about 60% that intense and after that it's only like 20% that intense. That's how it was for me anyways.
The thing that you felt the next day, i also expierianced and was one of my favorite parts of my first time. It's the only time you get that next morning after high. I haven't had it since.
Your first time is normal. The black out thing goes away after the first time. Remember, your brain is expieriencing a foreign chemical for the first time, THC.
Your highs will change soon. They will be less intense, you will be able to function and think somewhat clearly, and it's more 'enjoyable' (not that the first time isn't)
I hope all this makes sense. I'm really high. Oh and it usually takes me about 2-4 hits to get high depending on the quality and method.
