hey guys, i am sorta new to this whole thing and one thing i cant wrap my mind around is the whole cloning deal. i dont even know if it is strictly a hydroponics thing or what. im not using hydroponics so if it is nm then. but if it is not, how do i go about cloning. whens a good time to start a clone?? thanx and this is all indoor shit.
The act of cloning, in its simplest terms is to take a cutting off a matured plant in veg (a mother) and grow it as its own plant. The thing to remember is that the clone will be just that, an exact replica of the mother plant, so you are guaranteed its genes/makeup. strain, gender, disease prevention properties, bud production. Cloning is very simple once you learn the basics, but you need to learn them before you start, or you will end up chopping up a perfectly good plant.
