Well tommorow is mothers day and tonight me my father, my mother and I went to get chinese and some mai-tai's, (I drove) I pulled into the drive way and me and my father sat behind the suv and watched my mum who is a comlete shitfaced alcoholic behind hope walk up the stairs, she was almost at the door and she started driftng to the left towars a 10 foot ledge which she fell off of..... any ways my mum wakes up about at 6am every morn and starts drinking since then, she has no job so I can't tell whether she has a problem or she is just bored since she does'nt work. She is drunk all day every day of the week. but she doesn't work so it isn't a problem. Is it addiction I guess is the problem?
i'd be willing to bet that the drinking all day every day caused her to not have a job, not the other way around.
That is where your wrong, of course it is a problem. Really it is just enabling her to drink during without any reprecussions

Since she's an alcoholic, help her by getting her a fifth. But for real, yeah, she's got a problem. Take action.

I don't think anyone on GC should be diagnosing your mum as an alcoholic or having a problem, honestly I think you should talk to a professional about it. To me it doesn't sound good, but I'm no expert.
