Ok so I recently had a deficiency and I flushed the hell out of my 5 gallon pot with AT LEAST 20 gallons and my ph won't go past 6.1. I've tried so hard but I refuse to put anymore ph down on my plant with all that water. Anyways, wanna know 1.) why this was happening to me, 2.) will my plant suffer from all that 3.) and if my normal waters ph is 7.4. 4.)how do I keep my soil runoff at 6.5 if the water I'm adding is 7.4? Thanks guys!
No it's at 6.1 and I'm trying to get it to 6.5. Should I ad high ph water to balance it out? Like 7.0?
Ph your water to 6.3 after adding nutrients then water your plants. 6.1 is not a bad ph at all, find a chart that show the availability of nutrients and you will see that 6.1 still has a good amount of each nutrient available for the plant to absorb.
Why are you using pH down if you want to raise the pH of your soil? Also, how are you testing the pH?
