1. CONFIRMED: The DEA Struck A Deal With Mexico's Most Notorious Drug Cartel
Michael Kelley     Jan. 13, 2014,

An investigation by El Universal found that between the years 2000 and 2012, the U.S. government had an arrangement with Mexico's Sinaloa drug cartel that allowed the organization to smuggle billions of dollars of drugs while Sinaloa provided information on rival cartels
The written statements were made to the U.S. District Court in Chicago in relation to the arrest of Jesus Vicente Zambada-Niebla, the son of Sinaloa leader Ismael "El Mayo" Zambada and allegedly the Sinaloa cartel's "logistics coordinator."

"The DEA agents met with members of the cartel in Mexico to obtain information about their rivals and simultaneously built a network of informants who sign drug cooperation agreements, subject to results, to enable them to obtain future benefits, including cancellation of charges in the U.S.," reports El Universal, which also interviewed more than one hundred active and retired police officers as well as prisoners and experts.
Zambada-Niebla also alleged that Operation Fast and Furious was part of an agreement to finance and arm the cartel in exchange for information used to take down its rivals. (If true, that re-raises the issue regarding what Attorney General Eric Holder knew about the gun-running arrangements.)

2. meh...this isn't news. it is how they have worked since the 80's

3. Heard about this a few days ago....not really much surprise...the CIA has been accused of starting the crack epidemic for a racial agenda

4. Do you not know the story of Rick Ross? This is what our government does man.

5. 'merica, fuck yeah we're so badass

6. The sad shit is this doesn't surprise any of us and yet the masses will not believe this could happen under the great messiah.

7. No surprise. DEA profits from busting drug dealers/users and cartels profit from selling it to dealers. It's nothing but one big racket in the name of "safety"

8. Guys it's totally OK when the govt runs guns and drugs.

Your life will be ruined if you attempt the same though.

9. I'm sure none of the agents involved with this were getting cash payments, since drug cartels don't have massive amounts of untraceable cash laying around

10. Why hasn't the MSM picked this up? Hmmm.... Fucked up, not even foxnews is picking this up since they are quick to bash Obama and Holder... Or maybe it's because it was going on since 2000 under GWB's watch. So that means no one in the media will ever talk about this. How fucking awesome is our media???

Mexico's largest cocaine cartel. The written testimony, combined with other evidence, shows DEA officials met with leaders of the Sinaloa cartel more than 50 times between 2000 and 2012. This would mean DEA-authorized drug smuggling goes back to at least the beginning of the George W. Bush administration, and continued for a year under Barack Obama.

One of the groups leaders, Vincente Zambada-Niebla, claims the American government also sent military-grade weapons to Sinoloa. According to the latest revelations, it was these weapons which were part of the Fast-and-Furious scandal. Automatic firearms which disappeared during that operation, led by Eric Holder, were used to kill U.S. Border agents.

This latest evidence and testimony points toward a massive scandal, involving both Republican and Democratic administrations. At the very least, this provides the best evidence so far that the Federal government was sponsoring the smuggling of billions of dollars of cocaine into the United States. Worse still, weapons purchased for the U.S. military may have been sent to the cartel, and used to kill American agents.
