concerns venting air out window

    I have a ~450CFM fan pulling air through a carbon filter and 600W vented hood. The duct goes out of the top of the tent and out the window.

    My plants are just now starting to smell and show their sex. I'm worried when they begin flowering the smell will leak out of the window. The carbon filter is pretty big and as of right now if i stick my face in the duct I can't smell anything.

    The carbon filter should do it's job if it's rated for the CFM you're pushing. I flower large quantities of marijuana plants and never have any issues with a single carbon filter running.

    Shouldnt be 2 bad with a carbon filter, one concern is that where i live (uk) polive helicopters actually detect hot streams of air coming from windows/roofs and supposedly can then tell its a grow room but im not 100% sure on that.

    Not really, UK is a bitch about this kind of thing.

    Plants are starting to pre-flower/smell and no leakage out the duct

    Really only thing that might let you down is the carbon filter not enought to cope with the extracion rate of the inline fan
