I have 1 bag seed that I want to try to grow in my closet without being easily seen or smelt. I put it in a cup of water to see if it was good or not but this is my first time growing. Any good ways on how to make this happen? Also any other growing help would be great!
Without smell? During flowering? Remember, you need proper light and tempersture there too. You may want to find a local hydroponic store and see what they can suggest in terms of equipment, then search on ebay and see wht you can find, but I think if you just plant it in the closet as you would any other plant, you may be up for an unpleasant surprice
Let's get some realities straight. You have a seed in water with no plan. That is almost instant failure. Two. This comes in here a lot. "I want to grow invisibly with no regard to physics or air dynamics." There is no magic weed. Growing needs light and light creates heat. Unless you have LED cash you WILL generate a lot of heat. Three. Ventilation. The aforementioned heat will need to be vented and replaced. No, not with more spent, hot, closet air ya dopereroony. NEW - FRESH - COOLER AIR. Not only that but once you begin to flower, you will be emitting a constant odor from your plant. Go to the supermarket. Buy a Glade Plug In. Plug it in. Leave your house. Come back in 4 hours later. Enter the room with the Plug In. Can you smell it? Well then you can smell your grow. These are realities of growing. These are environments that should be controllable BEFORE germing a seed. Go to Staples. Get a pad. Get a pen. Monitor methods and temps until you can find something that works. I tried a Rubbermaid grow and midway scrapped it for a tent because it just wasn't happening like it needed to. I'm glad I did. EXP + a Billion and a way more quality grow. Not many people are prepared to flip the switch like that. Sure you can grow in a PC case, a closet. There are plenty of threads here. Check out the "micro-grows". You need to be realistic. You aren't going to grow 3 pounds in a PC. Too many threads get coddled in here. I don't do that.
