So I ordered a computer fan off of newegg.com and I already hooked it up to my old phone charger and it is working great but the package in came in gives me practically no info on it and neither does newegg.com. I know my charger can handle the amperage for the one fan but I am not sure exactly how many amps it takes.

So my question is...is there a way to figure out how many amps a fan takes?

    Thanks for the help GC

Here's the link to the fan

    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...&cm_mmc=TEMC-RMA-Approvel-_-Content-_-text-_-

Not sure if it will help

  2. A lot of mine are around .08 amps. Do you know anything about it? Rpm? Cfm?

  3. I just looked at it. Honesty your best bet would be to compare it to a similar fan that has an amp rating. Or you could get an amp meter.

  4. check the sticker on the front of the fan...your amps should be on there
