Compost tea questions

Discussion in 'Advanced Growing Techniques' started by nichk6, Jun 11, 2020.

  1. Hey all.. I use Roots organic nutrient line. (Buddha grow, Buddha bloom and Surge)

I recently brewed my first compost tea. I am in flowering phase right now.
I used compost and worm castings as my base.. then added insect frass, alfalfa, kelp, neem, fish meal and seabird guano as the dry ingredients.
Wet ingredients I used molasses and a liquid humid acid and seaweed concentrate

Do you guys still follow your regular feeding pattern? And then feed with the tea when you would normally do a regular watering without nutrients?

Also, if you guys see anything wrong or have any suggestions about compost teas, I’d love to hear them

    Thanks guys

  2. I long gave up this racket in favor of Compost Extract like ice cream to kids

  3. Is this a nutrient tea, or a biological tea you brewed?

  5. I'm not a big ACT guy but sounds like way to many things going on in yours. AFAIK you should only have compost and a food source like molasses or fish hydrolysate.
