Are there any packing materials that will block all scent? Always a little paranoid about shipping things. I notice herb smell will go thru layers of baggies and packing material. Are there any totally air tight materials?

Always air tight and no smell till you open it. Try shipping it in that or a used pill bottle. Just pack it so the glass won't break.
Id say a mason jar to start with but whatever you use don't forget about cross contamination. Put it in the jar seal it and wash the outside and your hands really good with iso and then regular dish soap. You could put more bags (vacuum seals best) around this once you're sure there is no residue on the bags/hands. At that point you're pretty damn safe of anyone smelling it. USPS Priority mail is probably the best bet. If shipping within the US at least. And to state the obvious, an unrelated return address.
I've heard that melting it into a candle is best. as long as they don't xray like thru an airport or something. It probably looks bad...
