Day 17 Man oh man these ladies are stretching like crazy! They have grown about 2 inches in the last 5 days, I hope they stop soon! but they are looking nice and healthy, starting to bud nicely so I'm a happy camper
Day 20 I have never seen this before. They are still stretching! My god the plant on the right is all up on the glass and the main gorgeous cola of the middle plant is almost touching the glass. I'm just hoping and praying they're finally done stretching! Starting to bud out nicely though on the positive side, and they are looking very nice and healthy. No, I'm not planning on translplanting again, not a good idea to transplant after about day 4 of flowering IMO.
Willydog - me neither! this is some crazy shit sizzlasia - seeds I got from a friend, Hashplant x Northern Lights Day 21 I looked into the box today and I was shocked! They had both grown another inch or so, the main cola on the shorter plant was not hitting the glass and growing against it. A little bit of burning too from being sooo close to the light. I took them both out and had a good tying down session. They have about 3'' of clearance now. They have to stop stretching eventually............. don't they????
maybe try putting a type of screen a few inches under the glass and get a little scrog effect eh? great plants man! i've been watching from the start and all i gotta say is you STILL got that green thumb! + rep
Day 22 Whooo........ the stretch is over. After I tied them down last we made a deal; I'll take good care of you if you stop stretching, hehe it worked! Now things are looking gooood, starting to get nice and crystally, watch for the closeups coming soon.

You know brother, its grow journals like this that give small timers hope in a big industrial high power light filled world. Seeing your plants grow in their tiny little potts makes me happy that i followed gut instinct and planted in the pots i thought were appropriately sized. I am following your grow with great interest because it seems people dont mind seeing your plants in tiny pots, and im happy to see such good lookin plants. I personally think people overestimate how large pots actually need to be to sustain a large plant.
Day 24 Hey everyone thanks for the positive words! In regards to pot size, they are in 2 gallon pots. Seem to be working well! Everything is going nice now, buds filling up and trichome production taking place!
Day 28 Smell is really happening now. Buds are starting to fill in nicely and starting to crystal up really good too. I love touching the trichs and then smelling it, mmmmm fresh bud smell!!
Day 33 sizz - I have been using the 2 part advanced nutrients system, for both veg and flower. I've waited a few days before posting so the buds could beef up a little bit to see the contrast. They are starting to fill up nicely, and stink. I'll try to get some macro photos coming up soon. can't wait till they're done.......
Day 36 Buds are starting to thicken up nicely now. I keep drooling over the main cola on the plant on the left. It was never topped so it's growing a big ass terminal bud. You gotta love that!!!!
looking good. glad they stopped stretching!! the colas look good but watch the nutes, something's not quite right and i have been out of the game too long to diagnose. but you shouldn't be experiencing that sort of burn on the main buds--are those leaves up against the light source? i just wanted to chime in because i pretty much learned everything i know at OG, and i'm sort of coming out of retirement as well. nice to see you found your way here, i did only recently. what happened with OG? don't mean to hijack but i left for a little while and poof, it was gone.
