Coming clean.

Discussion in 'Apprentice Marijuana Consumption' started by jokr58, Jul 26, 2017.

  1. I'm living with my parents and have been smoking for 3 years. My dad smokes on a fairly regular basis and from talks I've had with my mom she thinks it's a wonderful medicine for people as she's a nurse. They are yet to find out that I smoke but last night my mom was all up in my shit after I used my vaporizer, saying it smelled like smoke. At this point I think it's only a matter of time before they search my room or catch me off guard. I'd love to come clean and have a face to face conversation with them but IDK if thats the best thing to do. Any advice is appreciated.

  2. Are you 18? Nothing to worry about. Under 18? Perhaps not.

  5. Lol, after my divorce I had to move back in with my parents. After years of being able to just sit in my own living room and smoke in my underwear whenever I wanted it was a shock to have to hide and smoke like a kid. I started smoking in a small little room in the basement (with a good sploof of course) when I do laundry. Full disclosure I haven't done laundry sober in a long time as a result.
I've never made it a secret among my family that I love weed and think it should be legal. So when my 74 year old Mom surprised me down there while blazing one day I just muttered something about it being my personal reflection time. She didn't really care but managed to get in a mom nag by sensibly pointing out I could get fired if my job ever drug tested. I told her that if my company ever drug tested us office clowns they would lose half of the office.

  7. I got hide my toking too. Just wait to you think it is the best time to tell them

  8. Op stated his dad smokes fairly regularly and his mom thinks it's good medicine.

The only issue, op telling said parents would be if op is underage. Even then parents would more than likely be understanding and tell you not to be stupid and stop smoking until you are of age.

  9. My advice is that you stop smoking weed until you are in your 20's. The adolescent brain is still growing, and if it grows high...it winds up somewhat retarded. If you wait until it's finished, though, you can entertain an adult brain with impunity.

Also, teenage smokers tend to wind up pumping gas for a living when they grow up, and can't afford to buy weed. :confused_2: One of life's cruel ironies.
