I'm not sure where I want to move to blades in my future. On one point I'm tired of the tyrannical rule of our government here in the USA, on yhe other hand is the legal hurdles to become a citizen in the great white north. I need advice from all blades
I do not know what curtails in becoming a Canadian citizen. According to the movie Bowling for Columbine, the news media in Canada does not report the same bullshit that we do in America. And Canada is smart enough to not get involved in that assinine Iraq invasion the GW Bush staged. I am a pussy for cold weather, or else I would be living in BC myself. BC is to Canada as what California is to the USA. West coast stoners rule!!
That indeed sucked, glad you beat them, but in a truly tyrannical system, you could not have prevailed. Just something to weigh.
Stay the fuck out of my country or i'll pelt you with snowballs. Spoiler alert: There's a rock inside.
Come to BC! We ride polar bears, live in igloos, and make our own maple syrup. :3 Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
I can't really say much about Colorado, but I can say that getting citizenship up here can sometimes be a bit of a problem. I wouldn't do it unless you've got a job lined up or have someone to live with.
Don't be fooled man. We are just like y'all. Our media is the same what do you think we are living in another world? Majority of our broadcasts are American TV Networks. I watched columbine on tv while it was happening. Our government and politicians are equally if not more corrupt. Also our asshat government no longer has a peace keeper mentality like we used to. We now participate in pretty much every evil our bigger brother takes part in. USA > Canada for weather aspects. Canada > USA for free health care and less gun crazies. There that's the only difference. I have lived in both countries.
I'd go to Vancouver for sure. Great city. Colorado's cool too but Vancouver has more. Plus the weeds great.
Move up here to WA man, it's as close as you'll get to Canada (especially BC) without actually being there, plus weed is legal if you're over 21, which I'm sure you are. Also it isn't too cold for all you pussies out there like me Unfortunately though Washington was churning out hipsters before it was cool, so all the major areas in the state is about 90% swaggots or hipster. I wouldn't blame you if that was enough to drive you away for life.
the thing is Washington is too strict with the herb. Colorado is very permissive about it. Also it rains too much there for my taste.
Yeah it is. It's well on its way to full legalization though. In about 2 years this state will be prime land for stoners from all the walls we're tearing down in the legislation. I think the only reason it's so strict now is because Federal Law states that buying/selling non medical weed is illegal, but state law says owning it is cool. So long as you "forgot" where you got your ounce from you're pretty much good. The rain can suck though, I agree. I always think at least it's not like in NY where it POURS all the time. It just drizzles a lot here. All that drizzle, my nizzle The location of the state is great because it means I grew up on quality shit all the time. Been smoking only 3ish years and I can tell good weed from bad already. Also I have ALWAYS been hooked up fat, so whenever I go out of state and purchase I always feel skimped even though I'm just pampered
I live in B.C. It's pretty nice lots of hippys, good weed, but the winters are diss and long, summers short and the main city's like Prince George and Vancouver are full of drug addicts and are disgusting (some parts are really nice) . Don't get me wrong there fun (especially if you love to shop or skate) and I can't speak for Colorado : as far as becoming a citizen idk but I assume it's hard cause are government doesn't want people taking advantage of our health care and the penalties and laws aren't as harsh as the U.S. We're much more forgiving to our citizens Sent from my spaceship
Never lived in Canada, but moved to Colorado from the southeast a little over a year ago. Its an awesome place to live as long as you can find employment. Cost of living can be high in certain areas but deals can usually be found if you do not mind a short commute. Available activities of coarse depend on where you live, but options are pretty abundant overall. Coming from the south, people here are generally have much more of a live and let live attitude. They may not agree, but they don't give a shit unless you cause problems. I'm a boring middle aged white guy so my encounters with the police are far and few in between, but I haven't seen any major issues. We live in a more rural area though, Denver may be different. As far as weed, we have the best laws in the country. Quality can range from crap to amazing, and cost from next to nothing to way too expensive, depending on what and where you are buying. Of coarse growing your own is the way to go if you want maximum value and quality and is a right under our state constitution. We really love it here, and will most likely retire in Colorado.
