Colorado wants DNA from people who commit misdemeanors | The Daily Caller Anyone else have info on this?
This type of bill has been debated on both the state and federal level.....I can see it for rapists and child molesters, but that's it......for misdemeanors, no way
I totally agree!! The State I live in, you commit ANY felony ( Theft, Drug, Assault, w/e) Mandatory DNA sample, who knows what and why the purpose of that is and what happens and where is it stored and who has access!! I would see fit DNA from Murder/Rape and Grand Theft just for the fact of physical evidence looked for at theft crimes. Crimes where DNA recovery and connection would prove vital.
