Hey all I'm a horticulture major still in my junior year in college in KY...planning on moving from here when I graduate, most likely to CO. Wondering if anyone has experience in growing and selling to dispensaries in Colorado and if you have any advice for an aspiring bud grower in CO
In Colorado dispensaries now have to grow 90% of their own products so they dont usually get it from caregivers anymore. Unless you are under a dispensary you can only grow 6 plants. The laws are tighting up over here and its being regulated pretty hard.
That's not true... if you are approved for edibles n oils n such ur limit is un..... unlimited grow count. As many as u want any stage of growth. In denver most of the dispenseries still buy off other growers... its not 90% its more like 40%
if growing is your thing, you will find a way to make it work for you. whether it is open your own grow shop, cargiving op, or dispensary. Evil
to the OP ... you still got a couple years left of school, look for part of he country where you like. then get your ducks in a row for when legalization ( MMJ or for real) happens .... the "green rush" is gonna burn itself out quick, as legislators start to see the money involved. some of this is already happening ..20K$+ to apply for a dispensary or grow site permit in NJ.... 10k$+ in DC. add on to that the limits now, you can see where you might want to be already "entrenched" when it gets there..
