color temp for veg

According to this vid, (http://pot.tv/archive/shows/pottvshowse-2993.html), Mr. Green says to use one warm white and one cool white for vegging. Everything seems to work fine for him but I have been reading that 6500K lights should be used for vegging. So which is which.

What one should I use?
