Have any of you guys ever read up on Scopolamine? Some CRAZY fucking shit. It is mainly used as an anti nausea drug but down in Colombia as a zombie drug. What gangs and thugs do is refine Scopolamine which comes from the Datura plant species, down to a fine almost cocaine looking powder. They will then approach someone and simply blow it in their face. That person has just then lost all free will and is not in control of their body. Thugs will then either tell someone to go to their bank and withdraw all their money, which they will do without any problem or they will have girls volunarily have sex with them. After a while the person will pass out and when they wake up, they will have no recollection of what happened. You could literally blow it in someones face, hand them a gun and say, "See that cop over there? Go blow his brains out." That person would then walk over to the cop and shoot him in the head. This is no fucking joke. Check out these links. It was even featured on CNN back in September. http://www.vbs.tv/shows/index.php?show=Colombian%20Devil's%20Breath http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P8Z6lpZD3MA http://edition.cnn.com/video/#/video/bestoftv/2007/09/26/ntm.zombie.drug.cnn?iref=videosearch
This video is fucking crazy. Listen to this black girl talk about using it on others... Let the 15 second surf/skate video finish and then it starts. http://www.vbs.tv/player.php?bctid=1125972192&bccl=MTExOTE3NDYwNF9fTkVXUw==
I know. There is another story I read where a guy in Colombia was walking down the street and someone blew it in his face. The next thing he knew he was lying on the floor in his apartment and his apartment was completely cleaned out. I mean everything, nothing left but the carpet. He had no idea what happened and when downstairs and asked the doorman what happened and he said, "You and two other guys were taking your stuff out of your apartment and you told me it was ok." I can't even imagine how fucked up it would be if shit like this came to the States or Europe. This drug makes Heroin look as dangerous as Skittles. Not only does it eliminate your free will but only a very very VERY small amount of powder is required to give you a heart attack. They say that Scopolamine as a refined powder looks identical to cocaine but one gram of scopolamine can kill 10 - 15 people.
i think most of these stories are false, scopolamine would only drug you out if ingested or taken into the blood stream.. if someone blew a cloud of powder in your face, YES, you would be affected GREATLY, but not like "zombie", in fact it would be the opposite. Most people dosed with this shit FLIP OUT and usually become extremely violent.... so i don't see how someone could use this other than like a "date-rape" drug slipped into a drink... but then again, i may be wrong since there are so many variations of drugs nowadays...
datura doesnt hypnotize you, nor does anything in it, it just makes you extremely delerious, to the point where you dont know whats real.. so whether or not you do whatever someone is telling you is all on how you react to it. u might do it, or u might jus go cut your dick and tongue out with some garden clippers
You have no idea how wrong you are. What you are talking about is eating Datura seeds or brewing tea with its leaves. Pure, processed, refined scopolamine powder is extremely dangerous, extremely potent, and 100% real. Made from the seeds in the fruit of the datura plant. This stuff is no bullshit dude.
Exactly. Datura and other morning glory type plants are completely different than other types of hallucination type drugs such as pot, LSD, and schrooms. Pot, LSD, and schrooms are psycoactive in that they stimulate your brain BUT barely if at all are toxic to your body. They can just fuck you up in the head pretty good if you ate/smoked a ton of the drug. On the other hand, plants like datura or morning glory are not psycoactive but completely poisionous, can easily kill you, and make you unable to differentiate reality from hallucinations. Look at how crazy some of these bad trips are of Datura... http://www.erowid.org/experiences/subs/exp_Datura_Bad_Trips.shtml
I know what the difference between the two are, what I was getting at was using it in powder form to turn someone into a "mind controlled zombie" is ridiculous. I mean, I've read stories about scopolamine being used as a possible "truth-serum" but the results varied drastically on how well the "patient" reacted to the hallucinations. As for using this stuff to rob people, yeah... it's the perfect tool unfortunately.
So what you are saying is that CNN is lying, VBS is lying and all the people they interviewed are lying? The CIA and other agencies did research scopolamine to see if it was a truth serium but it failed. But no one in Colombia is using it as a truth serium instead people are gladly helping others let them rob them, girls are getting raped but helping out, and it is also giving people heart attacks.
what i'm saying is, that using it as a mind control substance is false, and this is clearly because the drug can cause a wide range of effects from violent outbursts to just flat out going into a temporary coma.
I've read those cases.... but that doesn't imply mind control in the least. If someone DRUGS you, and let's say like in the story it's two or more... you're NOT going comply with what they want? You won't lie to the doorman to keep your "captors" from blowing your head off? Seriously, think about it, it has more to do with the "power of suggestion" while influenced by the drug. I'm sure in rape situations it works a little bit better... but using it to "let" someone rob you... come on.. theres more to it than just the drug itself, you know? either way that shit is becoming more and more popular in SA countries for things like this... I'm suprised the US Gov't hasn't done anything about it. Guess busting stoners is more important
Ya dude that is literally insane. Then he eats one of those datura seeds right there on the street in front of the camera!
I don't fully understand what your trying to say except that you are seriously underestimating the power of this drug. Watch all 9 of those 3 - 4 minute videos on VBS.tv and you will get a complete picture. They don't call it the "Devil's Breath" for nothing. Not to mention the fact that the majority of Colombians in Colombia are more scared of the drug than anything else in their country including the civil war, narcoterrorism, high murder rate, and rebel groups really says a lot. Here is an excerpt from a Wall Street Journal report in 1995, http://earthops.org/scopalamine1.html and then there is this.... It doesn't get any more dangerous than that.
