College + Weed question

    Alright, so here's the problem- I'm going off to college soon and I'm planning on living in the residence on campus. So, I'll be sharing a dorm with 3 other people and 4 individual bedrooms. I want to still smoke regularly while in college, but I'm not a fan of the whole "getting caught" aspect of it. Weed isn't legal here and I'm planning on just having a grinder, papers, a rolling machine and whatever weed I buy. I won't be smoking in the room at all, mostly just rolling my joint then heading off somewhere to smoke it then going back.

    Now my question is, can I just balls it out and hide my weed carefully, or should I get a small safe to hold everything? And if I do get a safe, are residence staff permitted to access that safe when they do searches? Or is it hands-off considering it'll be locked and sealed. This is a big factor for me, if I can't get away with having weed in my room, than I'd rather go move somewhere off campus where searches won't happen.

    I believe they need a warrant to open a safe. You're being a lil paranoid it's college. I wouldn't go in joints blazed to introduce yourself. But chances are most your roomates will smoke too

    at my college they cant open anything that is yours including suitcases, backpacks, safes, etc. but if you leave weed in a desk drawer or something like that then they can open it and youll get caught. i also wouldnt be too concerned about getting caught because i would say at least 50% of people in college smoke or have smoked before so odds are most people wont have an issue with it

    Technically, you can deny cops the right to even enter your dorm without a warrant. Just happened with some guys on my hall two days ago :p you should bring a car and smoke/stash in there. Thats how I make by

    they dont need a warrant to open shit.
    you live in their dorms. you attend their school.

    they can look through anything they want with probable cause.

    just be careful man.
    you get caught smoking in the dorms, youre getting kicked out of the dorms.
    that stuff is highly frowned upon...

    you sign a "lease" or "contract" when you move in.
    saying youll pay for damages....along with many other things.
    go ask for a copy and see what it says about drugs.
