I started college today after a 6 year break from school. My oral communication professor is hilarious. In that class there's tables facing each other. I sat across from this really cute blond. She kept smiling at me. Since we were up front and the teacher was talking we couldn't talk but I definitely plan to introduce myself on Wednesday. My second class was English. should be easy, but I'm not sure about the professor. She said "understanded" instead of "understood". After a 4 hour lunch break I had macro-economics. That class is going to be too easy.
If the only thing you see of value in an education is the $ at the end of it all, you don't belong there anyway. PS, it's still worth it.
I think college is better if you give it a break, I'm going back after a 1 year online class only situation with full time work...I'm going back to class next spring, I'm looking forward to it. Going to suck when I graduate, then I'll be expected to work all day everyday, haha
Of course it is. You may have secondary reasons as to why you go, but that's the whole point. A career.
There won't be debt for me I get grants. One of the great things about being unemployed and independent and having a fucked up life lol
Good for you bro I am starting my first day at university today after 3 years spent at the local junior college, I can only hope it goes as well. Be careful with that macro class, shit gets out of hand and confusing really fast when you start playing with graphs.

Lol, that's all it comes down to, the teachers wouldn't teach if there was no money, and colleges are basically a business of tuition and making easy money. You don't go to work for the job, you work for the money, $$ is attached to everything and the world runs on it and you need it to survive. Looks like you're sucked into "You need college to be successful!" college would be useful if they helped you find professional jobs and work and got your name out, because it's really hard to do it yourself, especially when you're just out of college, they'd rather hire someone with experience and knows what their doing. Enjoy majoring in something useless, major in engineering shit or something in demand or enjoy your debt and stress when you could of been making so much money. But hey, I'm just a pawnbroker who gets $17 and hour + commission and I wasn't a rich kid that got everything handed to me, I had to learn myself.

Education is free and available everywhere why pay to get it, oh wait I forgot your paying for that label and pretty signature on a piece of paper, because face it without one of those papers your just a stupid person that never went to college, :-/....
