College dorms and weed...

Depends on the college.

I would not smoke in the dorm. But I'm sure there are some colleges that run drug dogs through.

 

Every college is different man. I went to an art school so I toked up in my dorm bathroom a lot, took the right precautions and never got caught. On the other hand, alot of kids who didnt take the right precautions did get caught. Mason jars are a must, with no weed residue on the outside.

By pre cautions I mean, soap on the shower floor, hot water running, towels under your room door, towel under the bathroom door, sploof with the sheets changed weekly, using only a bowl, and covering the ember after so no loose smoke escapes. There were no dogs on move in day and we only had one room check with like 3 weeks advanced notice. I also brought a quarter to hold me over until I found a new connect and had no trouble getting it in and hiding it.

Like I said at the beginning though, every school is different so what helped me might not apply to your exact situation. Remember when living in your dorm/on campus your stripped of all your rights pretty much so you are at risk for a search or room check by your RA, Campus security, or even a LEO at any moment in time.

 

how are you starting school a few weeks into the semester...
doesn't make much sense considering the college has been in session for weeks.

smoking joints on campus/dorms is a terrible idea.
you get caught youll be screwed.

 

Don't smoke in the dorm. Keep your weed in a jar and smoke outside. I had a private bathroom that I shared with another room that I would steam up and toke in. It was a bad idea because some others got caught doing the same thing.

The dogs only come when an RA will smell weed from a room and notify the police. In that case, you could be royally fucked if the dogs walk past your door and hit it.
