Hey guys I left my 1 Gal of nutrient water in the fridge for two days and the bottle is a very cold but not frozen. Does anyone know if it would be ok to water with this cold water? Should I let it warm up?
Ive watered with cold water before, and i saw no ill effects , however , I do not make a habit of it, nor would i recommend it !
If your grow is on the hot side, cool, not cold water is the way to go. If you have to water now, you can add the cold nutrient water to some warm water and be good.
This happens to me all of the time. When I leave my distilled jugs in the basement and they get a bit cold, all I do is turn on the basement sink and run hot water over the outside of the jug. Takes about 10-15 seconds to knock the chill off, and I'm good to go.
