What is the science behind coconut water? Is it really important to use it? I have talked to some people in my area that are no-till gardeners and they all swear by coconut water. I want to give my plants best products possible but I dont want to spend alot for coconut water, if the benefit is minimal.
Some info on coconut water: https://forum.grasscity.com/attachments/coconut-water-pdf.1705731/ If its too expensive for you, you can substitute with sprouted corn tea, or ground up malted corn (same as you would use malted barely)
This is exactly what i was looking for and couldnt find it. Well I may pony up a couple dollars for it. Doesnt seem like I need much. 1/4 cup for soil, i think it will help. Thanks sc00by
I only use coconut or SST for the first few cycles. After that the soil is moving and grooving and I don't really see a need to use it anymore. Guys using smaller containers may find it helpful. I hate spending $$$ when its unnecessary. Listen to your plants....maybe the $$$ is better spent on more soil. RD
