  2. you should ask in the hydro section if you are growing hydroponically. most of us grow in soil and never flush.

  3. Well its organic coco medium would you class that as hydroponics?

  10. Organic GROWING section bud.

    Not organic MEDIUM section.

Most folks on here havent used a bottled nutrient in years so we arent too privy on flushing and stuff. The early suggestion you got about going to the hydro section and talking to them was the best thing you are going to get out of here.

  12. Ya rite different feeds for coco to siol. Ya can still use a root stim and mulizyme wi coco or siol as they are universal. Jyst make sure ya use a and b coco fir example. I use canna a a and b. I get from my grow shop but its avialible on amazon. Also rember ya ph is normaly a tad lower in coco so i go for 5.8 . If ph ok shud be ni need to flush unless ya plant shows defiencys etc. Hope this helps lv xxx

  15. coco is organic yes, but its inert and that's why its also used in hydro grows. since you are growing in 100% coco i am assuming you are using chem fertilizers. but regardless you are growing hydroponically because all your feed will be watered in. thats why i suggested that you make your inquiry in the hydro section. wasnt trying to be rude but you will most likely have your post seen by people who grow in the same manner and can help you better.

now, since you are already here ill just say you should look up organic growing using soil. once you mix your soil you can pretty much use water only, and the best part? you can use the same soil, over and over. no mixing nutes from bottles or checking PH. your plants will be stronger, healthier and the meds you will grow will be leaps and bounds better in quality then what you could grow in hydro. if that sounds like something you want to learn about you should read this thread, the first post sums most of the vital information.

    good luck!

  16. @peril3

I'm going to move your thread to the appropriate forum and I want to apologize for the way you were dismissed and treated in the earlier posts. We don't roll that way here, yet some feel the need to take elitist positions when posting.

Hopefully, @Ironhead can help you out. He's considered an expert with coco and is a great contributor to Grasscity's forums.

    All the best,

    Chunk

  17. Peril3 you can avoid salt build up within the medium by watering with fresh clean water every 3-4 days and using a flushing product like FloraKleen periodically throughout the grow.

I've also been on the House & Gardens Drip Clean bandwagon lately.. I add 1ml to every watering in veg and flower and it keeps the salt build up way way down. I used to see build up on the sides of my fabric containers, but now that doesn't happen. I like this stuff a lot. Hope that helps brotha.
