I took an old Coax TV cable and use it to either weight a branch down a little to avoid hitting a bulb or group several branches to brace them up, or just general plant control while flowering. It's light, smooth and not sharp, retains a bit of shape when bent, very light and can be used from plant to plant to keep the branches away or whatever. Try it.
