  1. so im still in the research stage my question was if i have a sealed room will i still need a carbon filter for the smell and if so how would i go about installing it

  2. Pretty sure you are confusing co2 with carbon air filteration (carbon scrubbing).

co2 promotes plant growth. Carbon (activated carbon) air filtration removes the smell.

Assuming you truly have a sealed room with no volume of air leaving it, then no, you won't need a carbon filter - UNLESS - you have some nasty stinky buds going on in there, and the smell escapes when you open the door.

MJ gets stinkier during flowering, and not all strains have the MJ odor. If you want to avoid using any type of carbon scrubbing, find a "low odor" strain, or one which smells like something other than MJ.
