  1. CNN Lowballs Nevada Tea Party Event: 'Hundreds of People, at Least Dozens of People'; Politico Reports 20,000

  2. ... are you kidding? Are we in bizarro-world?

  3. dont tell me CNN is lying.

    youre lying!

  4. I'm not kidding. Reporting attendees as "a few dozen people", when it is in fact 20,000, is clearly a lie meant to down play the movement. Much like all of CNN's reporting, its meant to run cover for Obama and discredit his critics.

You guys are worse than hardcore Fox fanatics. Wen CNN calls 20,000 people "a few hundred, maybe a few dozen", thats outright lying.

  5. You know what this reminds me of?

    Totalitarian regime propaganda media.

  6. We aren't far off.... That is why I post about this stuff constantly. If people don't wake up, we're in trouble. The country does not work without the 4th branch keeping a check on government. Its not supposed to be government's personal PR and attack dog.

  7. This just in: the media is biased.

    Source, the media.

  8. I was led to believe the tea party movement had renounced people like Sarah Palin in their manifesto (Tea Party Declaration Of Independence! )

The Nevada tea party event smacked of GOP astro-turf if you ask me

  9. Regardless of them renouncing Republicans or it looking like GOP "astro-turf", you could see more than 100 people just in the last shot when Palin went down the steps and literally DISAPPEARED into the crowd... can't do that with "dozens" of people... It's complete bullshit that the MSM can just lie about how many people are at these rallies... There was a rally at the washington monument like 2 years ago... there were over a million people there, and the MSM said there were about 1000 people gathered. Absolutely bullshit.

  10. As far as I know there are two major tea party groups, Tea Party Express and Tea Party Patriots. Tea Party Express is a GOP front heavily sponsored by FOX, while the Tea Party Patriots are independent of the two party system and represent your typical constitutionalist.

So yes, this event was intended to serve GOP interests. That doesn't mean everyone there was a Bush loving neocon though.

  11. lol, why would she say dozens over a video in which there are clearly more than dozens of people?

I think they really need to make a real split. The educated libertarian members of the Tea Party are never put in the spotlight by the media, only the moronic Palin and Bush loving neocon morons who can barely articulate a coherent sentence.

Sara Palin should not be ANYWHERE NEAR any type of liberty movement. She undoubtedly hurts the image of the movement.

Honestly, I don't understand why the original "Tea Partiers" didn't just start holding big rallies for the Libertarian Party. The GOP'ers wouldn't have touched it.

I'm tired of hearing all this crap from the different liberty movements about getting "liberty leaning" Republicans in office. Let's get actual LP members in office.

  13. Agreed. I don't want Libertarians associated with the Palinites and the guys who were shouting racial slurs at black representatives. It just gives credit to the media and left-wing pundits who call the tea party protesters racists and idiots, and all because of a few people who shouldn't even be there.

  14. In all the videos, none picked up ANY racial slurs.

  15. Except it didn't happen.

    Concern troll is concerned.

  16. It's called devide and conquer guys and really shows just how unethical the the 2 party system is and what it will do to maintain the status quo.

Or at least thats what it looks like to an outsider:eek:

  17. You won't understand what the tea party is if you keep trying to classify it as merely a segment of the party system. It's not a political movement, it's a social movement with political undertones. That's why people from across the spectrum, left and right, have joined together as part of the tea party movement.

  18. Oh i know what it is but my point was about the fact the the GOP has insinuated itself into the tea party movement as a way to cause division (which it has done.)

I make no comment about tea partiers but about the dems and GOP:D

  19. You say that, but saying it doesn't make it true. A major defining element of the tea party movement is a rejection of the GOP power structure and soft liberalism found therein.

  20. lol, why wouldn't she say dozens over a video in which there are clearly more than dozens of people?

Because that's how the MSSM (This was a typo, but I figured I'd leave it because it fits - Main Stream Socialist Media) downplays ALL Revolutions... When Ron Paul had a REVOLUTION Rally during the primaries, there were more than 100,000 people present. The MSM reported "about 100 people showed up" ... problem was, you could see about 1000 people in the picture behind the reporter, and she was covering her ears because everyone was so loud...
